Open with warehouse. Teen Titans are fighting a villain. They each attack the villain one or two at a time, using their conventional fighting styles in a visually novel but otherwise unremarkable way, which each being rebuffed by the villain, who uses an identical tactic to repel each of their attacks. The villain escapes in a cloud of smoke/dust or a hole in a wall/floor.

One of the titans, hereafter reffered to as titan A, and chosen nearly at random, does the thing their character always does, such as “be the silly one” or “be the nerdy one”, but to a greater extent than usual and with a particular slant towards a behavior that is generally considered to be morally wrong or economically suboptimal. They are rebuked on this behavior by one or more of the other titans, but ignore this advice.

An unlikely event occurs as a result of the action/inaction of titan A, causing a chain of events with negative consequences to take place that may or may not be related to the villian fought in scene one.

Robin will call one or more of the teen titans, saying that he has found some vaguely described but apparently helpful intel that points to what the villian is doing next. The teen titans rush to the location in an attempt to stop the event from taking place.

Upon arrival, the teen titans will do battle with the villain to stop an event from occurring which will have permanent, negative consequences for the city/world/titans. They will be unable to stop the event from happening, due to the unresolved conflict in progress for which titan A was the catalyst/subject. Some manner of countdown clock/slow moving process/expanding object will begin counting down/slowly moving/expanding towards a threshold after which irreparable entropy will be induced on the city/world/titans.

During this time, titan A has an epiphany which leads them to alter the behavior established previously in such a way that the teen titans can again function as a cohesive unit. Titan A and/or Robin also have an epiphany which may or may not be obvious to the viewer for how to stop countdown clock/slow moving process/expanding object, which may or may not be related to the personal epiphany of titan A.

The titans, with the slow moving process stopped, proceed to attack the villain one or two at a time, using their conventional fighting styles in a visually novel but otherwise unremarkable way, with each attack causing the villain to be more visibly fatigued. Finally, titan A says something pithy to the villain that is vaguely in reference to their arc this episode, and lays the final blow or traps the villain in a container suitable for transportation to prison.

The titans, now back at titan tower, interact socially in a way that demonstrates that the arc of titan A has been dealt with, but has not permanently changed their personality or altered the team dynamics in an appreciable way.
